co si zabalit na kungsleden?

Polární léto na Kungsleden může být nevyzpytatelné. Zatímco ráno se můžete vyhřívat na sluníčku a vyrážet na cestu v kraťasech a krátkém rukávu, už v poledne můžete zmoknout a vítr, který rozfouká dešťové mraky může přinést chlad. Najednou na sobě máte dlouhé kalhoty, několik vrstev svršků, čepici i rukavice. Žádný z rozmarů počasí by vás neměl nachytat zcela nepřipravené. Pojďme spolu mrknout na to, co ve výbavě na Kungsleden nesmí chybět.

Nejlépe se cítíme, když je nám tak akorát – ani příliš velké horko, ani zima. Jasná věc. Abychom ale pochopili dobře, jaké zvolit oblečení na putování a jak s ním zacházet, vrstvit ho, je dobré si připomenout, jak ztrácíme teplo.

Teplo celým povrchem těla vyzařujeme do okolí. Nejvíce tepla takto ztrácíme obvykle hlavou, rukami a chodidly. Zakrytím těchto míst dokážeme významně zvýšit svůj tepelný komfort. Čepice, rukavice a tunel na krk nesmí ve výbavě na putování polárním létem rozhodně chybět.

Vánek z povrchu našeho těla smete vrstvu teplého vzduchu, která tam přirozeně vznikla díky sálání. Proto pokud fouká, tak se pocitová teplota okolí snižuje. A ačkoliv teploměr ukazuje třeba 10°C, pocitově se cítíme, jako když je kolem nuly. Velkým pomocníkem tady bude třeba větrovka a taky správné vrstvení.

Nejvíce tepla a nejrychleji teplo ztrácíme působením vlhkosti. A to jak té z venku, když třeba prší, tak i té vnitřní, když se potíme. Obě tyhle složky je dobré nepodcenit. Tady přichází na řadu kvalitní spodní vrstva, která rychle schne a odvádí pot. Vnější vlhko spolehlivě odstíní kvalitní nepromokavé svršky a pláštěnka.

Heslo, které s oblibou vštěpovali islandští rangeři v horách všem pocestným. Už nejednou se jim stalo, že museli vyrazit zachraňovat člověka, který vyrazil na horskou tůru v džínách, plátěnkách a bavlněném tričku. Kolem pasu omotal mikču, aby se neřeklo. Najednou se z příjemných 20°C stalo 10°C a mokré propocené bavlněné tričko tepelný komfort ještě snižovalo. A na polízanici bylo zaděláno. Nemusí být nutně zima, ale podchlazení na vás může číhat i v podobě výše zmíněného zpoceného bavlněného trička.

merino jako spodní vrstva

Existují i jiné alternativy spodní vrstvy, ale ze zkušenosti už pokaždé sáhnu po merinu. Materiál rychle schne, takže i když se zpotíte, nebudete mít na sobě mokré triko. Je příjemný, když je horko a i když je chladno. Při správném vrstvení je to prostě top spodní vrstva, navíc z přírodního materiálu. Merino vlna má také samočistící vlastnosti. Ne že byste tričko snad po dlouhém treku nepotřebovali vůbec vyprat, ale i vyvětráním mizí většina zápachu a nebudete zkrátka tolik smrdět jako třeba ve funkčním triku. Funkční trika také bývají často pocitově studená a vlna má ten příjemný „hřejivý“ dotek.

U merina platí, že čím tlustší, tím teplejší. Chápeme se ale, že samotné prádlo nehřeje, jo? Oblečení má tu funkci, že izoluje a dokáže udržet námi vyprodukované teplo u povrchu našeho těla. My jsme svoje vlastní topení. Ale zpátky k tloušťce první vrstvy. Na letní aktivity se doporučují gramáže okolo 100 – 150 g/m, na zimu pak gramáže nad 250 g/m.

Ideální druhá vrstva izoluje a dále podporuje odvod potu z povrchu těla. Díky tíhle vrstvě jsme v teple, ikdyž se řádně zpotíme. My jsme zvolili fleecovou mikinu. Dobrou variantou ale může být i merino s vyšší gramáží – merino mikča.

Jako třetí vrstvu jsme dávali bundu, většinou stačila tzv. větrovka. Tady se nabízí různé varianty – membránový nebo nemembránový softshell.

Ještě navrch pak může přijít nepromokavá bunda, která by ale stále měla být dostatečně prodyšná. To je někdy oříšek. Je ale důležité, aby poslední vrstva měla zachovanou prodyšnost, jinak si zboříme celé vrstvení a bude se nám uvnitř našeho systému hromadit vlhko a jsme znovu u ztráty tepla vlhkem.

Měla jsem s sebou pro jistotu i teplejší bundu. Na léto, i to polární, mi stačila lehká zateplovací bunda. Použila jsem ji zpravidla jen, když jsem se nehýbala. Večer u stanu byla moc příjemná.

  • Šortky (super řešení je odepínání nohavic)
  • Nepromokavé kalhoty
  • Nepromokavá bunda
  • Teplá bunda
  • Vesta
  • Čepice
  • Tunel na krk/šátek
  • Rukavice – spodní merino, vrchní nepromokavá vrstva
  • Pláštěnka

Pohorky nebo terénní kotníková obuv? 

Toť otázka. Sami chodíme v pohorách, ale potkávali jsme spousty poutníků s lehčím obutím. Tady se pak určitě hodí nepromokavé ponožky, možná i jeden rezervní pár. V druhé části Kungsleden za Kvikkjokkem začíná více bažinatá část. My jsme se k ní nedostali, ale od jiných spolupoutníků vím, že byli za pohorky rádi.

Přibalte ještě sandále, skinnersky nebo podobnou alternativu. Večer budete chtít nožkám ulevit z těsných bot, navíc se můžou hodit na případné brodění řek.
