Jaký je život v Ospalé samotě?
„Ospalá samota? To zní ponuře a pesimisticky,“ řekl mi kamarád, když kdysi četl název našeho prvního blogu. Ospalá samota ale není vůbec ponurá, ani smutná. Ospalá samota je schovaný kus ráje, který schoval můj pradědeček. Je to místo, kde řeka ovládá plynutí času a je to místo začarované a kouzelné, které si nás volá, tak jako kdysi mého pradědečka.
Můj tatínek, dlouho předtím, než se poznal s maminkou, jezdil kolem vlakem do školy. Z okna sledoval krajinu a pokaždé ho zvala k výhledu na klidnou a skrytou osadu u řeky. „To je úžasný místo! Tady bych chtěl trávit léto, dělat dřevo a třeba tu v důchodu přebývat v dřevěné chatě a topit si v kamnech,“ myslíval si, když se díval z okna jedoucího vlaku. Pár let na to se seznámil s maminkou a ta ho v létě vzala na chatu. Na to kouzelné místo, které pozoroval z vlaku a které ho volalo.

Jeden letní podvečer jsme seděli s Lukym na verandě a dívali se na řeku a poprvé vyslovili nahlas: „Co kdybychom sem na čas odjeli žít?“ Chodili jsme už tou dobou oba do práce a nejprve jsme se tomu nápadu jen zasmáli jako by to byl nejapný vtip. Jenže jsme na to nedokázali přestat myslet. Pokaždé, když jsme sem odjeli na víkend, chtěli jsme zůstat déle. Ten nápad vykrystalizoval v době světové pandemie a stál tak před další zkouškou.
Chceme se v téhle době vzdát zaměstnání, příjmu a pohodlné jistoty?
Existuje ale něco takového jako jistota? A možná právě pohodlí a pocit jistoty a zběsilý řád připomínající krysí kolečko nám vlastně nepřináší pocit volnosti a klidu. Všechny tyhle myšlenky se neustále opakovaly. Letos na jaře jsme ale už věděli, že odcházíme z práce, že odcházíme do přírody a do ticha.

Někdy hrajeme na verandě šachy, někdy zpíváme u ohně, někdy jenom mlčíme a díváme se z okna. Hodiny neexistují. Je začátek dubna a je ještě zima. Dřevo mizí před očima a Luky tráví část odpoledne štípáním dřeva. Já pletu, čtu, chodím do lesa a fotím. Některé dny jsme tady, jen my dva, řeka a les. Občas jdeme na výlet do okolních lesů nebo do nedalekého městečka nakoupit. Některé večery sedíme dlouho do tmy u ohně. Zpíváme, povídáme si nebo se díváme do plamenů. Když se setmí, uléháme do peřin. Je tu tma tmoucí, taková, že nevidíme ruku těsně před očima.
Ráno nás probouzí první sluneční paprsky, zpěv ptáků a řeka.
Dny jsou dlouhé a plné života.
